RCD Youth Engagement Project

Members of the Richmond Rotaract have been involved in the newly established Youth Engagement Project of the Richmond Centre for Disability (RCD). This project not only aims to support youth with disabilities through peer mentoring and skill learning but also provides the opportunity for youth with disabilities to use their leadership qualities to develop a youth strategy that will benefit the overall youth community.

The involvement of the members includes serving on the Youth Council are primarily involved in the development of the youth strategy through planning various events as well as on the Peer Support Group that assist with the actual events.
