Culture Connect
As our world continues to globalize, we continue to gain a better understanding of others in the world. Our club wishes to initiate a project, Culture Connect that ensures elementary school children are enjoying these benefits and are deepening their international knowledge by connecting a local elementary school with one abroad and facilitating photo and/or letter exchanges.
Through the vast Rotaract Network, we will connect with Rotaract Clubs in other countries and establish links to foreign elementary schools. We will then pair local students with those abroad and provide themed prompts to which students provide a meaningful photo and perhaps a caption. The pair is also encouraged to become pen pals in the future. The photos will then be exchanged on a monthly basis.
